A father was devastated to learn that his brother impregnated his daughter.
Villagers in South Africa, expressed their shock and disappointment after the man was allowed to walk free after impregnating his niece. 

Magistrate Muntukayise Khumalo only gave the 55-year-old man of Ingwavuma, a fine of R10,000 ($810) for incest.

The rape charges were dropped after the 25-year-old niece told the court that she and her uncle were dating and he did not force himself onto her.

The woman’s father said that he wanted his brother punished for ruining his daughter's future.

“He had a nerve to tell the court that he had been sleeping with my daughter for 9 years. This means that he started sleeping with her while she was still a minor,” the angry father said.

The uncle said that his wife forgave him for cheating on her with his niece, and she returned home with their children after the criminal charges was settled.

“I want to put it behind me. I paid the fine and I support my child,” he said.
