DRUG LORD: How Drug Lord, Pablo Escobar lost Ksh.210 Billion shillings in cash every year to rats

 

Medellin cartel boss, Pablo Escobar, the king of cocaine brought in almost $420 million per week at the peak of his reign.

According to Roberto Escobar, the cartel’s chief accountant, they drug lord lost about $2.1 billion to rats since he would stash the cash in his Columbian farming field and warehouses. He would also hide the money in the walls of the cartel members.Pablo was earning so much that each year we would write off 10% of the money because the rats would eat it in storage or it would be damaged by water or lost

Juan Pablo Escobar, (now Sebastian Marroqui­n), claimed that his father once torched $2 million in crisp banknotes in order to keep his family warm while they were on the run.

The only problem the brothers had was to neatly organizing the bank notes. The cartel used nearly $2,500 to buy elastic rubber bands to to hold stacks of bills together.

Pablo Escobar’s cartel supplied 80% of the world’s cocaine and smuggled 15 tons of cocaine into the US per day.
