Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has confirmed that he has tendered his apology to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), over his YouTube video where he blasted “insane” critics.
In the recording, he also spoke about his grievances with the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick.
However, Oliseh and Pinnick spoke over the phone on Monday and he has revealed what the conversation was about.
“Yes I apologised to the NFF for my earlier comments but I also made known my grievances to the NFF President when he called me on the phone. He admitted that they had their own flaws and I also apologised. It’s better for all concerned if we work together in harmony,” Oliseh told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“I was complaining at the way we were treated and how I was being a victim of a clear sacking campaign orchestrated by opposition which hurts so much.”
Oliseh also added that he now expects things to work better after the dialogue with Pinnick, ahead of next month’s 2017 African Nations Cup qualifiers against Egypt.
“With this new assurance from the NFF I pray we set a common goal by winning our subsequent games ahead,” he added.
