Nigeria beat Luxembourg 3-1 in an international friendly, played on Tuesday at Stade Jozy Barthel.
Returning striker, Brown Ideye, opened scoring in the 36th minute of the match, firing in a rebound off Onazi Ogenyi’s shot. Kelechi Iheanacho made it 2-0 in the 70th minute – his second game in as many games.
However, a defensive blunder by Kenneth Omeruo, allowed Thill Vincent to pull one back in the 90th minute.
Watford striker, Odion Ighalo, restored the Super Eagles’ two-goal advntage a minute later, after a super assist from Iheanacho.
Nigeria on Friday defeated Mali 1-0 in another friendly.
