CAF had banned the North African country from the 2017 and 2019 editions of the competition, after they failed to host this year’s event.
However, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), overturned CAF’s verdict last Thursday, following an appeal from Morroco.
“CAF, which joined the authority of the jurisdiction of CAS, has committed to implementing the decisions and will comply with this ruling
despite the contradictions observed in the CAS decision,” a statement on their website said.
Junior Binyam, who is CAF’s director of communications, however told BBC Sport that Morocco “still have to pay the compensation”.
