A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Fani-Kayode, has called for serious prayers for the crisis-ridden party.
The former aviation minister, stated that the call for the prayers became imperative following the emergence of former Borno State governor, Ali Modu Sheriff as new PDP chairman.
Sheriff was once accused of having ties with the Boko Haram insurgents.
Airing his views via his twitter handle, the PDP chieftain said, “Given todays events, it is clear to me that, more than at any other time in its 16 years in existence, the PDP needs serious prayers.”
