OPC Leader Fasheun Says ‘Jega Had To Postpone Election Because We Knew Buhari Would Win’ [WATCH]

We’re not sure he was supposed to say this but the leader of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Dr. Fredrick Fasehun has said that INEC Chairman, Attahiru Jega, was compelled to postpone the general election from February 14 to March 28th, when it became obvious that President Goodluck Jonathan would lose the presidential election.

He made the ‘revelation’ on Friday, March 20, during a Post National Conference gathering sponsored by Ondo governor, Olusegun Mimiko, calling it “an achievement of the Yoruba people”.

According to him, the PVC collection rate in the North East, which peaked at 80% in Yobe, compared to 62% in Lagos, Nigeria’s most populous state, would have assured a heavy Jonathan defeat at the polls.

He also called the President “a friend” and dismissed serial accusations that the current administration was corrupt by asking rather cheekily, “Who is not corrupt?”
