In the most accurate example of the changing nature of power, a photo has emerged of the official portrait of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan thrown on a rubbish pile in Abuja where he used to be quite popular as Nigeria's leader. The picture below was acquired from a Naijaloaded report of November 29, 2015 which showed Jonathan's official portrait receiving the same treatment as it just did at the Rivers state lodge. Goodluck Jonathan was President of Nigeria from 2010 to 2015. He was Vice-President of Nigeria from 2007 to 2010 and was Governor of Bayelsa State from 2005 to 2007. He remains a top member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
