A picture went viral on Twitter yesterday which allegedly shows Minister of Petroleum Diezani Alison-Madueke at former head of state Abdulsalam Abubakar‘s home looking very low-key, it is being alleged she went there to plead for leniency for what may come when Buhari assumes power in May.

Since Buhari’s election win and his promise to tackle corruption head on! Many are of the opinion that a lot of public officials will be tried and their ill-gotten wealth taken from them.

It’s a well known fact that the main recipients of corrupt officials largesse are their kids. They are a dime a dozen in Abuja, the nation’s capital where they can be seen driving around in Lamborghinis & Ferraris, kitted out in the most high end fashion and holidaying at lavish & expensive hotels from Dubai to Monaco.

Yesterday a hashtag started on Naija Twitter called: #LifeAfterReturningStolenPublicFunds and the tweets about how corrupt officials and their kids, will be living after Buhari is done with them, is hilarious! Check them out after the jump.
