A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)‘s agent has been arrested for alleged vote buying in ward 1, unit 1, Obada Ede local government area of Osun state.

The agent was said to have brought out money publicly, forcing the security operatives to arrest him.

Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the PDP in the election is from the local government.

There have been allegations of inducement of voters by members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the PDP in the state.

At unit 1, Asunmk ward in Talafia area of Ede, an APC agent claimed to have some money with him to be distributed to those who voted for the party.

Isiaka Oyetola, candidate of the APC in the election, had earlier denied reports that his party was involved in vote-buying.

“I don’t know anything about buying of votes; I haven’t seen anybody here buying votes,” Oyetola had said
