Jimi Agbaje of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, has failed to win his polling unit in the ongoing gubernatorial elections in Lagos state.

He polled the same number of votes with his main opponent, Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress.

Both secured 87 votes each in the election.

He however lost his polling unit in the House of Assembly election, Punch reports.

APC polled 89 votes while PDP polled 82.
