Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, Jimi Agbaje, has said he’ll accept defeat if handed one at the ballot.

Results in our Situation Room shows Akinwunmi Ambode of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in an early lead in the Lagos governorship race.

Agbaje said, “There is no attitude about it when it comes to offering yourself to serve the people. If they say they prefer the other candidate, then you have to accept it in good faith. That is sportsmanship.”

Agbaje was accredited by the INEC smart card reader at the sixth time of asking at his 009 Douala, Apapa PU on Saturday. This would be his second attempt to be Governor of Lagos State.
