A Federal High Court sitting in Akure has sacked Bode Ayorinde as the Peoples Democratic Party House of Representatives Candidate for Owo Ose Federal Constituency.

The court confirmed Sadiq Obanoyen as the authentic PDP candidate having won the party’s primary election.

The court ruled that it was wrong for the national leadership of the PDP not to submit Obanoyen’s name to INEC as the party’s flag bearer.

Bode Ayorinde, a serving member of the House of Representatives representing Owo/Ose constituency in Ondo State,  left the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  last year because of what he described as impunity in the party.

The lawmaker, who was among the House of Representatives members that defected to the opposition party on July 24, said the APC disappointed many democrats during the last congress.
