Nigeria has come of Stone Age, this can be entwined to the recently conducted polls, ranging from its acceptance and handover preparations to APC flag bearers. As a result of this, Nigeria and Nigerians are receiving warm receptions from all over the world, including hands of friendship and most importantly business partnership. This is highly commendable and many more to come.
You will agree with us that this nationwide poll success is a collective achievement, spreads across states and local governments, where polls were free, fair and impartially conducted. However, numerous impartialities can be traced to many states, this is not restricted to Rivers States and “Taraba State” renown - strong APC state, where APC is profoundly produced the First Female Nigerian Governor; Her Excellency Hajiya Aisha.
The announcement of Hajiya Aisha Alhassan’s poll results became rowdy amidst dictators. The opposition plots to upturn figures in favor of the ruling PDP, as PDP envisaged loosing the poll to an unexpected woman icon – Popular Mama Taraba. In view of this, supporters of Mama Taraba and International Poll Observers denotes the following negligence and irregularities are non compliant with Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines among other factors:
Ignored all APC complaints and petitions;
Partisanship of Resident Electoral Commissioner;
Widespread non-use of Card Readers;
Manipulation and destruction machines;
Non-accreditation of voters;
Subversion of the rights of the people to exercise their franchise;
Leaving a chunk of results of other areas unattended;
Use of security agencies in aid of the ruling party;
Cases of collation of results in non-INEC designated areas;
Non-delivery of electoral materials in many parts of the state;
Allocation of votes on result sheets;
Widespread violence resulting to injuries and loss of lives;
Security agents aided to ruling PDP to kidnap electoral officials to shuffle and stuff ballot boxes.
Despite several reports, complaints and protests, INEC went ahead to accept many flawed results. Hence, APC USA International Secretariat and allies bluntly condemn all poll malpractices and call for the immediate declaration Hajiya Aisha Alhassan as Taraba State Governor Elect, and in the case where Partisan Taraba State INEC decides to conduct re-election; Mama Taraba will not be threatened and or ridiculed in the face of her stunning supporters. All parties must play by the rules and we shall not accept any foul play!
Because of the forgoing insecurity and lack of trust, there is the need for a new embodied INEC and Law Enforcement Agents to reassure electorates of free, fair and impartial election. Hence, APC USA International Secretariat strongly recommend the current state INEC be replaced immediately and thoroughly investigate on April 11th governorship election in Taraba for justice to prevail, notwithstanding, we shall not accept daylight robbery! Taraba State is on the watch!
