IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu has called for Nigerians to demand a Nigeria of their own and not what was forced on them by the British.

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has called for the emancipation of Africans from the hold of foreigners.
While speaking in a recent interview with Dele Momodu, Kanu said Nigeria cannot function as a viable state because of its history. He stressed that before the name Nigeria, those who make up the country Nigeria existed and were doing well.
Reacting, a former Nigerian minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode wrote:
"I watched @MaziNnamdiKanu's interview with @DeleMomodu this evening & I was inspired & encouraged. Nnamdi spoke with such eloquence, passion, courage &strength. He is brilliant &irrepressible. He cannot be underestimated or ignored. Every African should listen to that interview."
Nnamdi Kanu also spoke about the Biafran war, and called for the dismantling of Nigeria.
