Official documents obtained has revealed that only 292, 878 voters were accredited in the April 11 governorship elections in Rivers State while Wike was declared winner of the election with a total of 1,029,102 votes, representing 87.77 per cent of 1,228,614, conjured number of total accredited voters. It therefore means the Independent National Electoral Commission in Rivers awarded Mr. Wike votes almost five times higher than the actual, authentic total number of voters accredited with card readers and Permanent Voter Cards.
If the five governorship candidates challenging the credibility of the April 11 governorship election in Rivers do not withdraw their cases from the election petition tribunal, Mr. Wike may need a miracle to come out of the election petition tribunal victorious with the available evidences. The Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Kayode Idowu on Friday confirmed that manual accreditation was not used in any state for the April 11 elections.
