I Went To Chicago State Univ. In 2000 & I Saw Tinubu's Name & Face In Their Students Record- Dele Alake

The educational certificates of the 2023 presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu have been questioned by Nigerians, after he told the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that he is not in possession of his primary and secondary school certificates, claiming that they were stolen by the military while he was on exile during late General Sani Abacha's rule as Head of State.

While featuring on Sunday Politics- a political programme of Channels Television on Sunday, 11th of September, 2022, a renowned journalist and the Director of Strategic Communication of Bola Ahmed Tinubu's presidential campaign, Dele Alake revealed that there is no falsehood about Bola Ahmed Tinubu's educational background, explaining that during the days of old, there were few schools and people who were not privileged to attend schools, read books and passed their external examinations from home.

The renowned journalist revealed that he went to the Chicago State University in 2000 and confirmed that Bola Ahmed Tinubu really studied in the school, after seeing his name and face in the university's students record.

The Bola Tinubu's spokesman further claimed that the rumours around Bola Tinubu's true identity are rumours peddled by his enemies and also challenged anyone with substantial proof that the APC's standard bearer's identity is false, to submit it to the public for evaluation.
