You might have read that the former Vice President met with stakeholders of the PDP in Enugu state, where he assured them that a presidential candidate of Igbo extraction would emerge victorious after the elapse of his tenure if he is elected in next year's general polls.
Speaking in regards to this statement, the spokesman for the APC presidential campaign council, who also serves as the junior Minister of Labour and Employment, replied the former Vice President via a tweet on Tuesday evening as he explained that the 14 Northern APC governors did not tell these tales by moonlight; instead, they implemented this by forcing the leadership of their party to zone their ticket to the South.
In a subtly mocking manner, Mr. Keyamo said, "It’s not too late for you to honour the power-shift arrangement in your own Constitution by stepping down now."
