The All Progressives Congress, APC has condemned the appointment of Justice Daisy Okocha as Chief Judge of Rivers State by Governor Nyesom Wike. 

The APC issued its condemnation in a statement released by APC Publicity Secretary, Chris Finebone. The statement read, ''the All Progressives Congress, APC, Rivers State can confirm that what Barr. Nyesom Wike commenced yesterday is a confirmation of his strategic plan to embark on vendetta on the person of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the former governor of Rivers State and political associates of the former governor.

''For example, we are aware that Wike’s appointment of Justice Daisy Okocha as Chief Judge of Rivers State on the swearing-in podium has already been condemned by notable men of the legal profession. It really goes to show that he was deeply involved in the crisis that surrounded the appointment of a Chief Judge for the state.

''Again, it confirms that Wike would embark on several rascal decision-making without recourse to due process and the law. Well, may be, it is necessary to earnestly remind Barr. Nyesom Wike that no number of hollow quick wins will win him anything or get him anywhere. His stay is obviously dead on arrival as he cannot call himself governor for more than a few months.

''Justice may be slow, but it is sure to arrive its destination much sooner than later''.
