The Peoples Democratic Party yesterday in a statement by Chief Olisa Metuh has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to call the aggrieved lawmakers bent on impeaching Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose.

"The PDP urge President Muhammadu Buhari to call the lawmakers to order, especially given the olive branch already extended to them by the governor in the interest of peace and development of the state" the statement read in part.

The PDP also warned the lawmakers to watch their steps and not take its civility for granted, saying it would not hesitate to defend the governor with all force availed by the law.
