It comes to us as a rude shock that, the Senate Standing Order which was used to inaugurate the 8th Assembly Session was forged after all! First it came as a rumour, everybody involved denied it, but the truth has finally come out. When a fish is going badly, it starts from the head first. We the APC Canada Chapter condemn this spurious act of forgery by the leaders of the Nigerian Senate, and we view it very seriously. We reject the leadership of these few bad eggs that want to lead at all cost. This is embarrassing to the entire nation and should not be condoned. We members of the APC Canada Chapter condemn this sacrilegious act in the strongest term, and we call on the federal government led by the President of the Change-In-Chief, PMB to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice. They do not deserve to lead our country in this epoch of change that we had waited for, for so long.
This act of forgery is antithetical to the spirit and wind of CHANGE that is blowing in the country at the moment. Everybody involved should be brought to book and face the full wrath of the law. As a matter of fact, they should all be relieved of their posts, arrested and prosecuted. This is am unprecedented action in the history of Nigeria, that some group of serving senators will connive together to defraud the entire nation. Their action is a blemish on the banner of the country, Justice must be served in this case, and the entire masses of the people should ensure that these people are named and shamed in the public to send a very strong warning to those who may be contemplating such nefarious action in the future.
If they decided to dress themselves up in stolen robes, then, they will have to suffer the fate of being stripped naked in the market square! That is what they deserve! Whoever does what nobody has ever done, his eyes should see what nobody has ever seen. These people have not only brought themselves to shame, they have actually brought the entire nation to disrepute, pure and simple. This is bad for Nigeria's public and international image and character. We should not handle this with lackadaisical attitude, it should be treated with all seriousness. These group of senators should be sent packing from the House of Senate, they do not deserve the honour to lead in Nigeria ever again.
