Anambra PDP chairman raises alarm over threat to life

The chairman of the Peoples Democratic party in Anambra state, Ken Emeakayi has cried out over plots to assassinate him.

He accused the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in the state of being behind the plot.

Emeakay has always criticized the APPA- led administration in the state.

He had lately accused Gov. Willie Obiano of mismanaging the state’s resources, especially local government funds.

Emeakayi was kidnapped in 2013, shortly after the governorship election in the state.

The government has, however, denied the allegation.

James Eze, Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Media, said Anambra had no history of killing anybody for criticising government, adding that the governor was too civil to kill anybody.
