APC USA International Secretariat is hereby calling on all APCs United States to amalgamate. This call is long overdue. It is very impressive that no issues stirred from existing groups. However, the party constitution necessitates that all groups come together, and at an agreeable date come by to supervise and conduct the amalgamation and leadership respectively. Coming together will fuse all groups to one strong, formidable association and bring the collective expertise on board. All to the benefit of the party and Nigerian at large, as we believe in unequal patriotism for our country.
We have no doubt that this will be a welcome development by APC wherever located, therefore setting examples to others. Besides, this is in furtherance of widening and strengthening our cause to be bigger, stronger and better!
We gathered hints about amalgamation when in attendance of President Muhammadu Buhari inaugural ceremony, May 29that Eagle Square and bifurcated out to match from fountain square to National Secretariat, chanting Diaspora Voting by 2019. The party's Deputy National Chairman (South), Engr Segun Oni received our delegation at his office. We delivered awards for onward delivery, because we are running out of time, returning to our respective destinations around the world and unable to meet face to face with recipients.
Awardees are: Chief Asiwaju Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, Chief Bisi Akande Chief Audu Ogbeh, Chief Tony Momoh, and Senator Chris Ngige, for merging into All Progressives Party. Other are Senator Binta Garba, Hon. Dr. Muhammad Sani Abdu, Bauchi State Governor, Barrister Solomon Dalung, Dr. Ramatu Tijani APC National Women Leader, Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan, Emir of Garki, Nigeria Governors Forum and Buhari Friends Organization. In Engr Segun Oni's closing speech, he envisaged the merger between all APCs in United States at a later date and handed us All Progressives Party's Constitution and Bylaws.
Prof Isa Odidi in his opinion entertained the call for amalgamation and should not be seen as power tussle, but goodwill to rearrange what is on the ground, knowing fully well that no man is an island, while together we can make APC USA best party in diaspora. Like Chief Asiwaju Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Ogbonnaya Onu, Chief Bisi Akande, Chief Audu Ogbeh, Chief Tony Momoh, and Senator Chris Ngige came together to form the ruling party. Also, important to learn from these pioneers' goodwill towards Nigerian Unity. Knowing fully well, they accepted party defectors to mention but a few. This is a great sacrifice ever made by Nigerians. We have no excuse other than to accommodate each other and portray good ambassadorship, irrespective of our origination.
Diaspora Woman Leader, Ms Mesi Ada Usiade opined, accepting this amalgamation, it becomes easier to accommodate one another's program of events and make the best of it, the APC National Secretariat and diaspora will accept it without any objection. Hence, our voices will upturn into one mega voice, and transcend to be more relevant to the hot political dispensation. The diasporans should also start from resolving rural community issues first, break ground into understanding the terrain and aspire to greater heights, while learning the dynamics of Nigerian Politics.
For efficiency and prosperity of APCs in America, there's the need to look beyond definitions and take very seriously the benefits and impact therein (enumerated below) while borrowing from the successful outcomes of mergers. Besides, amalgamation is the act of merging many things into one. Under the Halsbury's Laws of England, 'amalgamation' is defined as "a blending together of two or more undertakings into one undertaking, the shareholders of each blending company, becoming, substantially, the shareholders of the blended undertakings. The benefits or advantages of amalgamation are as follows:

Diversification.
Financial economics.
Growth.
Managerial effectiveness.
Helps to face competition.
Increase participation.
Increase recognition.
Increases goodwill.
Increase acceptance
Increase partnership.
Increase credibility
Eliminate Geo-ethnic differences.
Revival of affiliates.
In his closing statement the live patron of APC USA International Secretariat, Director-General, Buhari Diaspora Campaign Support Group Center, Prof Isa Odidi, affirmed his appreciation and anticipation a smooth amalgamation of all groups, and in the future looks forward to APC International Diaspora formation. He added; “doing so, will facilitate effective communication and best decision making within harmonized groups better”. Prof Isa believes, “this will crave unflinching support from the National Secretariat and the best way forward”.
