Addressing newsmen on Saturday in Jalingo, the Taraba state capital, Senator Alhassan said, ''Let me tell you that even as we speak, no one has contacted me that I am to take a ministerial appointment. It is mere speculation as we have had in the past''; THIS DAY reports.

Insisting that her rumoured appointment was part of the manipulative tendencies of PDP, she stressed that Architect Darius Ishaku was wrongly declared as winner of the April gubernatorial election in the state just as she maintained that PDP will surely lose at the tribunal as well as the Supreme Court. Appealing to her supporters to remain calm and law abiding, she assured them that their collective mandate would soon be recovered whether she’s appointed minister or not stressing that she’ll drop the appointment whenever her mandate is restored so as to serve the people of the state in the capacity they wanted her to serve them.
