The Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, says his grouse with President Goodluck Jonathan is that the President abandoned Edo State and did nothing for the State despite securing 95% votes of Edo people for his re-Election in 2011.
Governor Oshiomhole told a gathering at an APC campaign rally at Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area that the the people of Edo State had decided to withdraw their support from President Jonathan and back the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari.
He said that the Edo State indigenes could no longer tolerate another four years of misrule by the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In the 2011 presidential election, President Jonathan won in the state, a victory Governor Oshiomhole said was as a result of the support of people of the state for the President at that time.
