Former member of the House of Representatives, now chief of staff to Edo State governor, Patrick Obahiagbon, has described the show of solidarity by 80 senators who accompanied the Senate President, Bukola Saraki to the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Wednesday, as ‘’Political Hallelujahness of the highest order’’.
The senate president is currently facing a 13-count criminal charge bordering on false declaration of assets preferred against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau before the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
Reacting to the development via his official Twitter handle, @PObahiagbon, the former lawmaker, who is known for his jaw breaking words, noted that while the executive arm of government led by President Muhammadu Buhari had witnessed a positive change, the legislature under the leadership of Bukola Saraki appears to be a different matter.
The Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu led 79 other senators to the tribunal in a show of solidarity.
